Everything tastes better than skinny feels.

The great Kate Moss once said that nothing tastes better than skinny feels.

Well, Kate. I disagree. Respectfully, of course, you skinny whore drug addict adorable little supermodel you.

I think everything tastes better than skinny feels. Maybe not everything, like…lima beans. But come on. I mean, hello?! Nachos? Taste way better than skinny. WAY better. And? AND? Girl Scout Cookies. Chex Mix. Burger King French Fries.

A lot of things taste better than skinny feels, is what I’m trying to say.  And maybe I'm also trying to say that Kate should broaden her horizons.

Now, I've never endured a drug-filled night of partying.  But I have endured an alcohol-filled night of partying, and I feel sorry for Kate if she has never had the pleasure of Taco Bell at 3 a.m. after the bar closes.  It's like...gourmet.  Really.  Taco Bell at 3 a.m. is like the best food I've ever had.

This?  This post right here?  Is why I have to exercise 5 or 6 days a week and religiously count calories.  Because I love Taco Bell.  And hate Kate Moss.

I have lost 8 pounds.  But I still love Taco Bell.  It is all very angsty.

Amen. I've just signed up for a half marathon in 6 months time thinking it'll scare me into getting fit, but I'm not thinking about the joy of running at the moment, I'm thinking whether to get a pain au chocolate or a pain au raisin from the cafe downstairs :)

8 pounds lost, that is awesome!
Soon the weather warms up and you can run around outside with your baby and dog. That will be "fun" exercise with them that you will not even notice.

Great job, you little hottie!! I'd much rather eat whatever I like & do a couple of crunches rather than starve myself & snort coke to stay skinny. That's just me though :)

Frankly, I don't think poor little Kate has tasted enough to know of what she spoke. That girl needs to eat a philly cheese steak or six and then she'd be skinny.

But I must disagree - it's Waffle House at 2:30am after the bars close that is food of the gods. All of the grease, none of the nasty lingering spices.

Yay for your 8 pounds gone.

It was so strange to me to find, when I visited Ireland, that after a night of drinking, they went for Chinese food! Everyone I have ever known goes for Mexican after drinking. But I don't believe I ever saw a Mexican restaurant in Ireland. Hmmm...maybe a business opportunity...

Congrats on losing 8 pounds! As to Kate Moss, I think she means "Nothing tastes as good as heroin feels." But it's not politically correct, so she switched heroin to skinny.

Ditto Mrs. Higrens...Waffle House at 3AM is AWESOME!

And YAY for you and your little skinny(er) ass self!

I hate being hungry, so I could never totally starve myself, but for me there is no food I like as much as I hate working out. So it keeps me from eating too much junk...

Impressed with your eight pounds. I could use a good ten or twelve off... but I'm still on fertility meds so I think I'd be fighting a losing battle...

Taco Bell is good...but what about Whataburger honey butter chicken biscuit?!?!? Something about alcohol + greasy that makes things 100x better!
You inspired me to get off my lazy rump and do the Couchto5K too! The iPhone app is a super easy way to tell you when to run, walk, and even gives motivational quotes :)

You are totally hilarious. And right. Everything tastes better than skinny feels, which is why the stairmaster is my best friend.

you must know me or something. This is how I feel every freakin day of the week. Stupid taco bell. and stupid metabolism. and stupid boys who can eat whatever they freakin want and never gain a pound. I'm glad I'm not the only one :)

For a while, we ate so much Taco Bell that I am now sick of it. Maybe you should try that?

My husband and I recently swore off the deliciousness that is the Bell due to um, the stomach issues that always seem to follow. Now we opt for the ever-healthy frozen pizza after a night out. I miss my late night burritos and cinnamon twists... Sigh.

Nice job on the 8lbs!!! You know what else rocks? Red Robin's endless basket of fries. Love me some Red Robin...

Congrats on the 8 pound loss...though I have to disagree with you on the Taco Bell thing. Taco Bell is an amazing thing; however, in the town I grew up in, we had a local bakery. Starting at 1am, you could go to their back door, walk into the kitchen, and get a fresh from the oven donut with your choice of frosting for a dollar. Warm, fresh donuts after a night of drinking is the best thing ever...sorry.

exactly! i don't hate exercise as much as i love food. so i have to exercise so i can eat. eat things like chex puppy chow. in mass quantities.
maybe if i had a good coke dealer i could not eat AND not exercise. but alas, my life is not THAT good.

Great job on the weight loss!!! I hear you, I definitely think everything tastes better than skinny feels, I can't imagine living a life in which that were the opposite! Food is entirely too pleasurable of an experience, especially as you said late night snack attack trips:)

Congrats, dude! I just got the SHRED and I'm pretty sure that I'm never going to walk again. But, whatever, I need to get in shape. We can DO it.

Dammit Jen, now I'm craving Taco Bell. :P

Do you guys have a Moe's? OMG, better than Taco Bell, the best queso ever. http://www.moes.com/Food.php?ii=3

I'm all about the food. If it's cheesy, pasta and potatoes, I'm all for it...which is why I am as wide as I am tall...but, who cares. I'd rather die fat and happy than skinny and hungry

I heart taco bell, too! But, will only eat it late at night to avoid having to feel guilty for the remainder of the day. :)
