Nutrisystem Week 7: Real Pictures of Food

I had another ridiculously fantastic week on Nutrisystem.  I'm down another 1.4 pounds this week, and my workouts have been kicking ass.  Next week is my halfway point and I'm thinking about posting some beginning and midpoint pictures of myself.  Maybe.  We will see if I am brave enough!

My Progress So Far:
Week 1: -2.4

Week 2: -3.8
Week 3: -1
Week 4: -1.8
Month 1 Total: 9 pounds lost!
Week 5: -.4
Week 6: -2.2
Week 7: -1.4
Total: 13 Pounds lost!

Since I am working out so much - an hour a day, at least five days a week - I have been dipping into my Optional Extras.  On days that I work out, I eat some of the extra foods that are allowed but are optional while on Nutrisystem.   I can have a max of three servings of extras, here are some examples:

  • 1 Cup of Popcorn
  • 1 Cup Sugar Free Gelatin
  • 1 tsp. of Seeds
  • 1 Tbsp of Cream Cheese
So I'll add seeds to my salad, or have a whole grain mini bagel with cream cheese as one of my smart carb choices during the day.  I'm always so much more hungry when I exercise and these extras really help with that.  And obviously it isn't hurting my weight loss at all!

I wanted to post a couple of pictures of the actual food I'm eating so that you can see a non-stock photo.  Do you know the problem?  I am so excited to shove my food into my Nutrisystem Hole (technical term) that I forget every.single.time to snap a quick pic.  I managed to remember once and so here is a picture of the trail mix bar that I had for lunch this week.

And while I was going to find the Trail Mix Bar picture, I found a picture I took of the totally old school step aerobics video that I've been doing.  
I'm pretty sure it is from the mid-90's.
They are all wearing slouch socks and
high tops with velcro.
But it burns 500+ calories so giddy up!
  There's  no real point in a success/confession section this week.  The entire week was a success - great workouts, loved all of my meals, no cheats even when I went to 3 parties over the weekend.  I haven't been so close to being my "normal" size for three years, and I definitely didn't feel so hopeful trying to do it on my own.     Basically: Two months in and I still love Nutrisystem and I am still happy to answer any questions that you have!    If you'd like to join me in using Nutrisystem to lose weight and start a healthier way of eating, follow this link: Join Nutrisystem or call 1-888-853-4689.

You are doing such a great job! Way to go! I hope you do post pictures, no one will judge, I bet you look and feel awesome.
Was your exercise video by Richards Simmons by chance? :)

OMG is that Gilad!?!?! I love old school exercise videos. Laughter is good for getting through a workout. keep it up! :)
