Since this is my halfway point, I took a picture to get a look at my progress. When I initially snapped the picture I just felt horrible about how it looked and I started to get really down on myself. And then I went back to my Before pictures.
And then I decided that I am kicking freaking ass and that I need to be nice to myself. I've come a long way.
I've been going back and forth about posting this picture. Because a lot of people that I know in real life see this, and I am totally embarrassed about how I look. It is so much easier for strangers to read about my feeeeelllllinnnngggssss and see my enormous stretch-marked stomach but when I people I know read it? The.freaking.worst.
But then also, I've done my fair share of searching for before/after fitness pictures that made me feel like I had a shot of looking normal again. So I'm going to post it. Here it is:

1. Those are the same clothes in both pictures. They are so much longer because there is less area to cover!
2. I got these results by using the Nutrisystem Women's SUCCESS Select plan for eight weeks and exercising for 30-60 minutes a day, 3-5 days per week. I even have some teeny weeny arm muscles!
3. I swear that I am not sucking it in or anything at all.
4. My stretch marks are colorless now so yay for that!
5. My phone camera lens is super scratched HOLY HELL.
This week I did cheat again. I ate Easter dinner at my mom's. I convinced myself that I would just have 2 ounces of turkey and some vegetables. LOLFOREVER. I had those but also I ate All Of The Stuffing That Ever Stuffing-ed. And then I felt horrible afterward and chugged a bunch of water to make up for it.
I did still manage a loss though - another .4 pounds gonzo!
My Progress So Far:
Week 1: -2.4
Week 2: -3.8
Week 3: -1
Week 4: -1.8
Month 1 Total: 9 pounds lost!
Week 5: -.4
Week 6: -2.2
Week 7: -1.4
Week 8: -.4
Halfway Mark Loss Total: 13.4 Pounds!
I took measurements at the beginning but haven't gotten around to doing that again. I'll do that this week though!
It seems like my legs and my arms have gotten the Be Normal Memo. My stomach? Mmmm not so much. It is by far my biggest challenge - it sticks out and has weird lumps and bumps and is super weak. I still have no pants that fit right and any that I try on look all crazy on me. But. BUT! I'm trying to be nicer to myself and just keep working because I've come pretty far in two months.
I'm really hoping to exceed my goal by the end of my Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program, but if I haven't I am seriously going to continue with one of the transition programs. Dinners on my own, maybe? I don't know. I will decide when I get there. But I really love the program and I am still so grateful to be included. Thank you thank you thank you Nutrisystem!
